Additional locations may be added to each package, our producers will be happy to cost this before a production commences.
Storyboards are not included in the above packages, we will however provide you with a shot list. RTR TV's in-house storyboard artist will create basic or detailed storyboards for an additional fee.
These packages do not include artists, we have an extensive list of presenters and actors on our books. We will be more than happy to find the right talent for your production. Rates vary accordingly.
These packages have been created to simplify the video production process, traditionally as a company we tend to provide more of a bespoke service but understand there is a need in the market. Please contact one of our producers if you would like a bespoke quotation.
Our in-house voice over artist is included in all packages, we do have an extensive list of VO artists we have worked with in the past, rates vary but our producers can advise.
This really depends on the package, you will be advised at the beginning of the production how many revisions you are entitled to. Once over the revision allowance a rate of £45.00 plus VAT will be charged per hour.
Your production is yours to do what you want with, we do however hold the right to use material for the promotion of our services and marketing opportunities unless the footage is of a sensitive nature.
We are happy for clients to take a hard drive copy of their footage, drives can either be provided to us or we will provide a drive for a fee.
It is not our policy to keep hold of working rushes over 12 months, we will notify you by email after 12 months and give you advanced notice before we delete any files.
We will be more than happy to update your work for an additional fee based on an hourly rate.
Yes we can, this will require extra man hours so we will have to charge a priority fee, usually 15% of the original fee.
Music selection is very personal, we therefore prefers clients to advise us on their preferences before an edit commences. We will provide links to our resource libraries. We also have a number of composers to hand if bespoke music is required.
We insist on a non-refundable 30% deposit before any pre-production commences, we will issue an invoice for the final payment the day after principle photography which will be due on 30 days.
The post production process requires communication from both parties and usually takes around 3 weeks, if you feel this may be delayed for any reason please let us know and we will instigate an interim payment.
The first 50 miles of any production are included within package price, any further mileage will be charged at .40pence per mile. All parking and toll fees will be charged onto the client.
Pre-production is the essential planning before any filmmaking commences and without it a production will inevitably run over schedule, incurring costs and the film will go over budget. Whether it's storyboarding, script breakdown, location management, casting or budgeting each are crucial for the success of any production. Here at RTR TV our production managers and producers will ensure all the boxes are ticked before principle photography commences.
Principal photography is the phase of any film/video production in which filming takes place involving crew, artists and equipment.
This is the editing of raw footage to cut scenes, insert transition effects, working with voice and sound actors, and dubbing, to name a few of the many post-production tasks. Post-production is the third and final step in film creation. It follows the pre-production and production phases.
The rushes are the raw footage from the days filming otherwise know as dailies.
'Wind Reel and Print' called by the Director or 1st AD at the end of filming.
A video codec is an electronic circuit or software that compresses or decompresses digital video. It converts uncompressed video to a compressed format or vice versa.
Typically these are the graphics often displayed at the beginning and end of videos.
Titles can be small and unobtrusive, and generated through a transition, i.e fade or dissolve, they are often the first thing the audience views and along with the music tend to set the tone of the film.
A lower third is a graphic overlay placed in the title-safe lower area of the screen, typically used to identify someone at the beginning of a PTC. Lower Thirds can also incorporate affiliate branding.
This is a direct delivery to camera by an artist/presenter or interviewee.
